I really like it :-)geniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17475608100401444065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4697161575740658362.post-84284868583240542862014-03-11T01:16:35.845+08:002014-03-11T01:16:35.845+08:00beautiful! It is a little trickier to do FMQ on a regular machine, but it's doable! oh, and I actually always offset the back a little bit. I think it makes it more fresh and modern!

Thanks so much for sharing at Needle and Thread Thursday!

:) Kelly @ My Quilt InfatuationKelly @ My Quilt Infatuationhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13383511246261347442noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4697161575740658362.post-90434142410789850562014-03-06T18:49:24.340+08:002014-03-06T18:49:24.340+08:00Stopped by your blog from your link on Freshly Pie...Stopped by your blog from your link on Freshly Pieced. I so know what you mean about backing not always ending up centred... or quite how you planned. Being off centre is modern you know LOL. I had a bit of a disaster on my backing when I went to pin my last quilt... you can read about it at my blog (ozzypipquilts.blogspot.com.au) I forgot to count my border when calculating backing width... had to take it home and add some more. The time before when I was pinning the quilt the backing migrated a bit AND the wadding and it had to be totally repinned. Novice mistakes... and I've been quilting for over 10 years.
